From her nomination form:
The granddaughter of Polish Holocaust survivors and the daughter of an immigrant who strove to achieve the American dream, Jennifer Jaskolka has always prioritized social justice and applied D&I efforts to achieve it.
Jennifer drives Xcel Energy and the community to embrace new D&I practices and promote awareness of the benefits of successful D&I initiatives.
As the former co-chair of Xcel Energy’s D&I committee, Jennifer still invests in holding outside counsel accountable on D&I matters. Xcel Energy encourages employees and outside counsel to remember “Diversity Exists: Inclusion is My Responsibility.” The company is also known for its D&I Week, during which all business resource groups participate in D&I awareness efforts. In everything she does, Jennifer demonstrates what is possible when a D&I leader steps to the plate. Jennifer achieves social justice through D&I successes, and she makes her workplace, her legal strategic partners, and her community stronger for it.
